Help a brother out!

I will be in Houston and San Antonio for work over the next two weeks and want to fight the fat and get in a few plastic pulling sessions. Which gyms are the best in each city? I just want to boulder and use the hangboard / campus if available. Any advice you have will be very much appreciated!

If you're on the north side of Houston, I'd recommend inspire rock (its technically is Spring, TX). They have a double decker bouldering area so you can top out on the lower section, and a separate area with campus and hangboards. If you're wanting something closer to downtown, Texas Rock Gym is alright, it's cheap ($5 for a bouldering day pass I think) but can get a little crowded during the week.

Thanks. Inspire looks awesome! I will be sure to check it out!

I grew up in SA and don't think there is a rock gym there. This is the closest you're gonna get: lifetimefitness.com/en/mart…

Scratch that, here's one sorta: yelp.com/biz/the-district-s…

The Texas State rec center in San Marcos has also a wall, but probably isn't worth the drive. I'm also not sure if they let the general public in or not but may be worth checking out.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
