Housing in Salt Lake City

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am moving to Salt Lake at the end of the month to start a job early June and am looking for somewhere to live. I have a dog, she is around 50-60lbs, chill and well mannered.
I am looking for small place, shed, garage, cabin, studio apartment, house, room (in a house with outside people), really anywhere that is cheap but not in a sketchy place.

I am here in town, and am looking for the same thing. I prefer something with privacy like a guest house or reno'd garage so I can make some noise without bothering anyone. I have a small dog who is well behaved.
