Description

This seldom visited area is reached by a scramble through boulders to reach a corridor with half a dozen routes from 5.6 to 5.12a. All Booked Up (5.6), The Albatross (5.10c) and Thunderhead (aka Gaston's Groove) (5.12a) are among the better lines here.

Getting There

Approach by scrambling up boulders right of Dodo Buttress to reach this hidden area. It's also possible but a bit tricky to access this from the vicinity of Solosby Wall.

Chimney moves can help down low where the corner is deeper and almost trough-like....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
