dirt bagging around cody
I saw some pictures of a crazy looking arch in blodgett canyone, i havent made the drive out to climb there yet but i was just wondering if this has been done before? or if not is it illeagul or just a really bad idea for other reasons?

apparently its been done and isnt terribly hard. does anybody have any more info or know where i can get some?

From what I remember from talking to people, it's about 5.6 and you need two 50m ropes to rap off the apex. There are slings but the preferred method is to do a counterbalance rappel with your partner. Sounds like a fun adventure. I think you want to leave the trail around where it crosses the creek. Looks like it's about about 1500' up from the creek through scree and jackstrawed deadfall. Have fun! Kevin Kent
