Description
Actually the northeast end of Low Motivation Dome, this area contains its namesake, the classic Hook and Ladder (5.11b). For the aficionados of the offwidth, Poodle Boy (5.10b) is all wide all the way.
Getting There
Park as for Uncle Willies approach to the South Wonderland. Take the park service trail for the Stamp Mill. Head past the stamp mill into the wash that passes between Worth Bagley Dome and Iguana Dome. Continue until a large rock split by a offwidth crack and a high finger crack is spotted on the left, this is the Hook and Ladder area. Any doubt as to the location, can be laid to rest once you spot the eponymous ladder.
