Hey guys we are heading from Tahoe through northern Utah into Colorado then back through southern Utah. We will be hitting popular national parks of course but want to do some off the beat'n path climbing anyone have suggestions for places to hit / not to miss what guidebooks to purchase. We are solid on 5.10+ sport 5.9 trad and love adventure climbing.
Planning on 4 weeks in our truck camper....

Adventure climbing, you say? Hit up some of the huge domes of the South Platte! Free camping everywhere in dispersed National Forest sites, free firewood (it's in an old burn scar), and endless granite domes with a lifetime's worth of crack, slabs, chickenheads, and chimneys. Also, a slick new guidebook just came out from Fixed Pin Publishing that will give you all the info you'd need.

When? July suggestions are very different than October suggestions.
