Description
Honeymoon Boulder is about 35 yards west of Fossil Boulder. This boulder is only about 9 feet tall but has some fun problems on it and an easy descent on north side. A few good problems on south and east side of rock which makes for warm bouldering in chilly weather.
Getting There
Head west on CO Hwy 141 from Whitewater, CO. Go over railroad tracks, past curvy day use area, over a cattle guard, and uphill for approximately 1 or 2 miles. The entrance to parking area is on WEST side of the road.
Fossil Boulder is the first rock you will see when entering the area. Area is a quick drive from Whitewater probably only 5-7 minutes from CO Hwy 141/US Hwy 50 intersection. There is plentiful parking, and it is easy to find.
