Hollywood climbing movies

What are the best Hollywood movies about climbing, in your opinion?

"The North Face" and "Touching the Void" were really good.
I also like "The Eiger Sanction" (I know.....)
"K2" was disappointing and "Vertical Limits" not great.
"Cliffhanger".....what can you say?

Any other major motion pictures about climbing anyone liked?

1956 "The Mountain" with Spencer Tracy

I remember liking Banner in the Sky as a kid (Disney movie based on a James Ramsey Ullman novel).

Forgot about "The Mountain"- a classic.

Another Disney film- "Third Man on the Mountain", circa 1959

Thinking about it, I think the Third Man on the Mountain was Disney's take on Banner in the Sky. James MacArthur (Dano from Hawaii 5-0) was the lead.

The Mountain is a good flick, but more because of Spencer Tracy than the actual climbing. Never bought him and Robert Wagner as brothers though.

Don't remember who was in it but Third Man on the Mountain was about a guy climbing the mountain his dad died climbing...

"Lonely Place to Die"

Not climbing movie but skiing and Nazis? Heros of Telemark is da bomb!
