Description Suggest change

The first rock route on Stanage and one of the oldest in England. This historic line follows a steep break in the imposing Goliath's buttress and offers a sense of adventure that seems out of proportion with the diminutive height of Stanage. Climb up blocks to the right of the chimney and make fun moves to enter the groove. Layback a crack in the right side to gain a ledge and a final short pitch to the top.

Location Suggest change

Just right of White Wand and Goliath's Groove.

Protection Suggest change

Readily soloed, otherwise standard rack.
