Description Suggest change

This formation has steep face climbing on very good rock, with nice views of the valley below. There are only 5 climbs on the tower, but that's plenty for a day at the crags. The guidebook claims this formation to have some of the best rock in the whole San Bernardino Mountains.....

Getting There Suggest change

From Fawnskin, drive NW on 3N14 for 4.5 miles to 4N93 (if the road is open....it has been closed for a number of years now...)..Left on 3N93 for 0.7 miles and park. Hike up the hillside to the right just a little bit until you are on the Pacific Crest Trail....hike on it for another 3/4 of a mile until you can easily see the Holcomb Creek Tower up and to your right. Scramble up to the tower from here.
