DescriptionThis area is easily accessible and provides options for year-round climbing. The south (Süd) side is nice and sunny, while the smaller north (Nord) side is shaded. The routes here are also "accessible" in that they are all moderates, and the crags are kid-friendly. Getting ThereDrive to Spies which is nearly directly south of Betzenstein. Head towards Schermshöhe and 30m before the sign indicating you're leaving Spies you'll see a road on your left headed uphill and a sign for parking. Park appropriately here and head further up the path/road. Follow it to the right up the hill towards the TV Broadcast tower until you reach the road leading to said tower. At this intersection, you'll see Hohe Reute Nord on your right. Continue around to the left to reach the Süd section.
