The Mine Bouldering Gym is hiring! We are looking to hire our newest ‘Mini Miners Coach’

Job Description:

The Mini Miners coach is responsible for creating a safe, fun and noncompetitive environment for kids

of ages 4-7 to learn the basics of climbing techniques. The program focuses more on making sure that

the kids stay safe and have a good experience than it does on actual training. As the Mini Miner coach,

you will be responsible for teaching safety techniques in the gym that will directly correlate to the

outdoors. You will be responsible for creating a curriculum that can be easily followed and understood.

You will need to be able to communicate effectively with the parents of the children and be able to deal

with constructive criticism.


Customer service experience

Good communication skills

Ability to work with children

Clean background check

CPR/First aid certified

Climbing experience

Pay and Hours:

As the Mini Miners coach you will receive an hourly wage of $15 per hour. You will also be given a

membership to the Mine Bouldering Gym. After three months of successful employment you begin to

receive bonuses based on the amount of children enrolled in the program.

The program runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:oo pm -5:30 pm.

  • You may be compensated for up to one hour per week of preparatory time.
