Views of the Eiger, Monsch, and Jungfrau all day? Check. Easy-access multipitch? Check. Fun movements on varied holds? Yup.

About 25 climbs in the 5c - 7a range listed in Plasir West, with some more hard stuff up the middle listed in Schweiz Extrem West. The setting and quality make it absolutely worth it a trip. Sharp, grippy limestone.

Getting There 

Drive to town of Wilderswill in the Interlaken area. Driving from the highway, cross left over the railroad tracks and head up the mountain road. Stop at a parking lot at one of the big bends after a few minutes of driving, and go into the Restaurant Stadlen to buy a 12 fr parking pass, a toll to pay for the road maintnenace. Leaving the parking lot, drive straight under a short overpass (no longer on the main road, which bends right uphill) and head up the mountain road to Hintisberg. Short walk from the parking spots.

6c, 5 pitches, 180m. P1 6b Good morning! After the 2nd bolt a stiff boulder problem appears. Go straight up, it's all there, despite appearances. P2 5b Easy climbing past some grass and loose rock.P3 5c A bit more gardening, but on decent rock.P4 6c Whoa. The rock changes to dead vertical, up crimpy pockets and then left around an overhang by way of long moves on small, sharp holds. Very cool movements and an awesome position.
