Anyone know who owns the highline set up at windy point? Looking to see if they'd let me join sometime or just for permission to use it (with leash).
Thanks!

Me and Holden at the "Matterhorn"
I dont know who owns it, or even where it is, but I would love to get a look at it sometime. What formations is it on?

The only place I've seen a highline at Windy Point before is between North Fin and South Fin. I've never heard of anyone leaving it up before, though- seems like that is an accident waiting to happen. Alex McIntyre

Right? That's what I was thinking...I'm not sure what the formations are, I haven't climbed them before. It's maybe only a ten min approach heading southwest from the parking lot. (Down the trail furthest to the right of the bathrooms.) I've seen it set up twice with no one using it. Kristin M

I don't know the guy, but I've heard the name Quinn Carrasco. I think he sometimes sets up a line there. If not him, I would guess he would at least know who set it up.

quick google search found a picture of him walking the line at night, maybe you're there at the wrong time.

and yes it sounds like the location you're describing Kristin is the North and South Fin.

Yeah I know Quinn maybe I should just shoot him a text, but he moved though a while ago so it's not his line he doesn't live in AZ anymore! :( Kristin M

I posted this a few months ago for Clay so it should give you a little more info. There are three up there now so I'm not sure which you're talking about but I'm guessing it's the Old Man's Gap (above Agatha Christy) line in question. It was bolted by Clay and Scott, I'm sure Quinn was up there as well (or soon after).

If you want to get up there next time somebody is rigging we normally post here:

It's a private group so I'm not sure if you can see it but if you send myself or Quinn a message we can add you.
