Happy to reach the jugs at the end

Description

Amazing.

Tall, exciting, big rewarding holds and fun moves.

This really is an awesome boulder and a must stop while in the Highlands.

Getting There

Take the trail past the front line of big boulders, and pass up the tall, pocketed Boy Scout Top Rope Wall. Once past the BSTRW, look to your left for a tall segment of stone and a trail shooting off left. This will round a bush to the tall face of the Highland Highball.

Make a tough move up to establish on the face (may be the physical crux). Work in a direct line up the face through big moves to massive hands. The last move or two are possibly the hardest due to the mental crux, but the hands are huge. Bring a solid mind to this problem and it will feel like cake....[more]   Browse More Classics in VA
