Hey guys, I want to break into alpine climbing this summer and curious if anyone is interested in training for some mountain fun. Im interested in practicing self-rescue techniques, climbing hard, and generally prepping for the alpine environment. I belong to PG Sunnyvale so if you are a member that is a plus, if not no worries. I've got a full rack/rope/car.

I doubt I would be a good training partner unless you only want to train on the weekends, and don't mind a long drive, but i'm always in the market for others looking to do alpine climbs in the sierra's

What routes do you have in mind?

I wouldn't mind getting on some high sierra stuff this year and have a long list of routes I wish to do. The biggest problem is finding the time & a eager/available partner to do the routes, training is almost secondary.

I climb at the Fremont gym, the Sunnyvale one is a bit too far for me.

I am looking for a partner for PG Sunnyvale as well. Also looking for a partner for Yosemite/High Sierras. I'm leaving May 11th to do Denali but will be back the first week of June. What's your availability this week? Maybe we can meet up at PG. Also I'm headed to Yosemite this Saturday through Monday.
