Description Suggest change

This alcove features the highest concentration of difficult routes on the sunny side of Woodford's Canyon. With one pure sport climb, one mixed climb, and several classic traditional test-pieces the High Caliber Corridor has something for everyone. The east-facing climbs get sun early while the south-facing routes stay sunny longer.

Getting There Suggest change

From the flat white boulder 30 yards beneath the 2nd Alcove (Whisker Biscuit area) walk right (east) on a trail heading towards a rocky ridge. Before the ridge, locate a 40 ft. pine tree that marks the approach to the Toprope Wall as well as the base of the High Caliber Corridor. The climbs are directly above; some start above the fourth class step, some below. The bolted arete is Mr. Personality (5.12a).
