Due to the presence of nesting raptors, the following rock climbing areas are temporarily closed: Slatanic Area, Rattlesnake Buttress, Margaret Thatcher Spire, The Stepping Stones, The Bulkhead, The Dunce Cap, and Commissioner’s Buttress.

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Start in a left-slanting crack just left of Six-Gun by My Side (this is actually the direct start for that route) or the vertical crack further left and climb up to where they converge at a horizontal then climb the crack along the hanging rib to a ledge and finish in a short left-facing corner as per Corral Crack.
