Description Suggest change

This wall is the back side of Hypertension. It contains cracks in the 5.7 - 5.11- range and might hold some futuristic projects. There is also one big bad offwidth.
The topo at right shows the first four routes established here, 1.) Atherolichenous Plaque, 2.) The Devil in Disguise, 3.) Ah Fair of the Heart and 4.) Spandex. More recently, it seems like there is a consensus that the three routes to the immediate east including 'Hypotension', 'Beta Blocker' and 'Heartbreak June', as well as the very bold boulder problem 'Monsters Inc' are also within the area. These additional routes round out the adventurous, rather audacious climbs (presently 8 total) found here, each having a separate page. Take a shot at each one if you are so inclined and 'shake, rattle and roll' at Heartbreak Hotel.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the directions to Hypertension, and upon reaching Hypertension, stay on the same level, and walk around to the right.

Sun & Shade Suggest change

Mostly Shady All Day

Details: Direct sunlight is rare here. The area is perfect for those roasting mid-summer days. It gets quite cold during the 'shoulder' Spring and Fall times. Winter is not nice!
