Headed to the RRG Edit: Looking for possible climbing partners

Looking for potential partners at the RRG. I'm going to be staying at Miguel's and will arrive sometime in the afternoon on 4/10. Will be leaving on 4/21 maybe the morning of 4/22. Looking to mostly climb 9's and 10's with maybe a couple of 8's thrown in, as I haven't been climbing as much as I'd like as of late and don't want to just dive into the deep end and wind up injured on vacation.

Have gear, 70m rope, 15 draws, no trad gear. Identifying features. Bean Pole Giant(6'8") with long brown hair, usually wearing either a bandana or Guinness Beanie, if on a route just look for the handmade leather chalk bag (several colors of leather) and chicken legs.

Hoping for good weather.

I have tons of stuff no trad but ropes and draws, coming off a finger injurey so this level seems good hopefully it wont push it to hard.

I will be in the red from 4/11 to 4/12. I am also looking to climb in the same difficulty range. The only catch is i will have my dog. So i wouldnt be able to go the muri valley. I also have a small 2wd car so i may need a ride to the crag. I have draws a rope and both guide books. I have climbed at the gorge atleast 15 times. So i know the area pretty well.

I think, to make this easier, I will just text everyone else when I get there. Given the description I gave of myself in my original post it should be fairly easy to identify me. Will probably hang out around the shop and the pavilion after I get my camp set up so look for me there. Will give a buzz when I arrive. From the looks of it, as long as I leave by 6:30 tomorrow morning, I should be arriving between 1:30 pm and 3:30PM. Sometime after I get camp set and most people are there we can all get together and come up with a game plan. Will see you all tomorrow.

Yeah I'd love to climb on Wed. Hoping to get over to Muir Valley and see what's what. Since you are staying at LOA we could meet that Muir in the morning. Though this may change. Currently they are calling for rain in the Afternoon on Wed. I don't really have Cell reception at Miguel's but I could run into town tomorrow night and give you a holler to make arrangements for Wed unless you are willing to swing by Miguel's Tues. night when you get into town? I'll be checking the Forum here throughout today and probably tomorrow as well so just send me a message and we can plan from there.

I can tell you from experience that Blake aka Balake gives some of the best BJs (belay jobs) in the gorge. Also if you are lucky he will hit you with some of his well known model shots "blue steel" or "magnum' and leave your heart palpatating.

Hey Dennis, i will be coming back to the red this saturday if you are still down to climb on Saturday. Ill probably just come up saturday morning and leave that night. Looks like every other day it will be raining. Ill send you a text as well. Just wasnt sure if u woild have cell service.
