American Music

Description

The ridge parallel to the main trail but to the east. This area is relatively new in terms of development, but the one established boulder is superb and the trail passes some others that are also good.

Getting There

Take the Hawkwatch trail till you hit the ridge. The Rio Bravo boulder is just south of the trail in the arroyo.

American Music V6  NM : Albuquerque Area Climbing : ... : Rio Bravo boulder
An excellent problem that sit starts low in the crack on the north face of Rio Bravo. Move up and right a few moves until you can move left to the sweet crimps. Climb straight up to the sloper and bail right into the scoop for the V5 or stay on the prow a few more moves for the V6. The V6 exit foot is the sloper that you grab off the crimps. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in NM
