Emilene starting up Hangin' Tree, with Paula Wrigh...

Description

Slightly over-bolted at the start, this intricate route follows a surprisingly beta-intensive path through pockets and crimps to a slightly overhanging headwall.

Location

Two routes right of Ticks For Chicks. Starts from the extreme right edge of a 3-4 foot tall ledge. Look for a rock scar about 6 feet up that's shaped a little bit like Wisconsin, with 2 bolts on its left side.

Protection

6 bolts to fixe rings. The first bolt is easily clipped from the ground, but they're all pretty close together. Watch for Z-clip on the 4th bolt!

I mistakenly uploaded the photo to "Saddle Up", but the route is, in fact Hangin' Tree.
