Why are there so many missing hangers from bolts at stoney point??

Because someone (or some thing) has removed them.

"I was wondering why is that the thing do to there?"

Small nuts and big egos.

That and a double dose of being fucked up.

But I'm just guessing...

LOL!

AndrewATP..... it has always been that way.

The unseen forces do police that place.

Only a few established TR bolts get left in place.

Do you have any specific locations?

For your inquiry.

The "thing" to do there is to not install bolts unless you are a very established local... I have been climbing at SP going back to 1973.... I am not an established LOCAL FYI.

SAR and Cave rescue take their hangers with them after practices. These are the studs up on top north east corner near the big crevasse.

The studs on top of Mozarts connect a high line for slackliners. Not sure of any other hangers that are missing.

I think that the bolts on top of Mozarts, were placed by the GUIDE service that uses that wall. They have been left alone for about 5 years now.

If those are missing... Id guess that it has nothing to do with bolt ethics, rather just some cheap a-hole stealing the hangers.

The big beefy slackliners bolts have been left in place so they can do their thing...

ok what I was seeing could have been the slackliners bolt studs on the far right (by the 5.5) of mozarts wall and then I saw three bolt studs on beethovens wall to the right of the 5.7 crack. I also noticed on the 3 bolt anchor on top of nutcracker buttress, the left most bolt is about halfway pulled out. You guys seem like you know the place pretty well I was also wondering if the tree glue ins on top of the pink drips wall are bomber?? Thanks for the replies!

Some folks were climbing on Pink Drips the other day... so I would assume they are fine.
