Halfsies on gym rope?

Hi Bay Area climbers,
I want to buy a cheap 70m rope and chop it in half to use as a gym rope. Does anyone want to split the cost and take the other half? I'm estimating $60.
best,
Michal

Hey Michal,

I'm interested in splitting a rope.

Let me know.

Ok cool! If you see a good deal on a 70m rope let me know. I'll be on the lookout. Probably around thanksgiving there will be some deals. I'm not particular about brand or diameter, but prefer something thicker in this case, so that it will last longer. What do you think?

Sounds good. I don't have much of a preference for brand or diameter either. I'm thinking something between 9.8 and 10.2 will be OK, but I'm open to something outside that range if we find a good deal.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
