Description

Gunsight Mountain lies directly above Anthony Lake and has a steep granite ramp that goes up the NNW face.

During the winter months the ramp is covered in snow. It has been skied and in the spring time when the snow is consolidatedit makes for a nice moderate snow climb. During the winter and spring avalanche danger is present.

Getting There

Gunsight Mountain lies directly above Anthony Lake and can be approached by hiking part way up the Hoffer Lakes Trail and then vering off to southeast.
