Me and my buddy were talkin about heading down to the gunks thurs. looks like its going to be 40 and sunny. Are we wasting our time ( driving from Worcester ma ) or should we be good? Figured some climbs should be dryish especially under some of the larger overhangs. Or any other suggestions would be great!! We're looking for easy to moderate trad. jake 356

Sack up and do it!!

It's not like there is nothing else to do there but climb. I grew up there and some of my favorite hikes have been in the winter.

Get at it!!!!

1-2 inches of rain tomorrow per eather.com. I think you can expect a lot of wet rock. PeterW

+1

Between snow melt and rain, you'll have a hard time finding dry rock regardless of overhangs. Save the gas money and head to the gym instead.
