Gunks AAC Campground site shares 9-12 Oct

Looking at heading down to the Gunks for our annual Thanksgiving long weekend (Columbus for you Americans).
If it's possible to squeeze in a tent from Friday night (Oct 9) to Monday morning (Oct 12)?

Or if you have room in your backyard for a couple tents of discreet Canadian spring/fall Gunks regulars.

Just as a heads up... the tent platforms on each site are TINY. I was down there this year with two other guys thinking we'd pitch multiple tents, they ended up sharing a tent and I slept in the back of my 4runner because we couldn't fit a small 3 person tent and 2 person tent side by side.

Yikes, that's gonna complicate stuff. Booked Friday and sunday night, just need a spot for Saturday.

If you get there reasonably early, the Gunks MUA, just near the Mountain Deli, has free camping. Sat is the toughest night to get a spot, but if you get there by 8 and are willing to hike a little, you can find something

Trust me, I know the area pretty well, I've been climbing most spring and fall in the Gunks since 92!
I don't have the kind of tent I would leave at multi-abuse. I also use to go with my ex and her station wagon with a 7ft long flat trunk... I'll see if I can squeeze in my bivy on saturday on a platform or maybe look elsewhere.

Luc - Have you looked at the forecast? Am I missing something or are you planning to aid or hike in the rain?
