| high calibre handguns, 12 ga.shot, some various rifles, all outdoors at dirt embankements loaded with targets. Spend more than I can afford on ammo, that's for sure. Sure wish I was out in AZ or Utah to unload out in the wild. | FLAG |

| 45 ACP and I plan on buying a 22LR Ruger MkII or III, I can't get enough of that one. I used to shoot .223 when I was a kid, Ruger mini 14, loved that. I don't get out to shoot very often, mostly because I am not aware of any good free outdoor ranges close to Down Town. I've never fired a shotgun, I've heard clays are a lot of fun. And yes, yee F'n haw. | FLAG |

| I have been a hunter all my life. Recently got into chuckar hunting. It is kinda like mountaineering with a gun. I have been trying to shoot a lot of clay pigeons for practice lately. I shoot a semi auto weatherby 20 gauge. | FLAG |

| Of course, if u like shooting, the most important thing is how best u can shoot at targets in the AC firing rage... Or as Kipling said... or something like that... going to sleep now... | FLAG |

Anyway, I decided to get into birdhunting, so I have a shotgun. I also have a 22LR Ruger 10/22 for plinking. I'm joining a shooting range because I actually want to get to be a decent shot. | FLAG |

| I still have a 12 guage pump, .22 rifle, and .40 Glock, but I sold several guns, a .40 CZ-75, AK-74 clone, 9 mm, last year to buy climbing gear. After awhile, shooting guns gets boring. Climbing is still exciting though! | FLAG |

| Benelli 12 gauge, semi-auto, for bird hunting. Started hunting pheasant/quail a few years ago, more fun than I thought it would be. Clays are fun as well, only problem there is no free ranges close to Denver metro. Not that into it to pay to shoot. Evidently, there is a range on the way into Shelf, good option for down time. | FLAG |

| Rick Blair wrote: How well can a 223 be suppressed? .223 can be suppressed but unless you're using subsonic rounds it really just conceals the direction that the shot came from. It makes it real hard for someone on the receiving end to tell where it came from. I spent 4 years in the USMC infantry and some of our guys had similar setups. You name it I've probably shot it... or blown it up. I still get out now and then but ammo is getting expensive. | FLAG |

| "Oh my god, that is awesome. You got some coin in that setup. How well can a 223 be suppressed? Are you LE?" If you mean Land Enforcement, then yes indeed! don't need no stinkin' badges..... seriously though, you can get the report down to that of a .22, which can be pretty helpful if you have neighbors w/in a qtr mile or so. the crux is the semi-auto action. if you suppress a bolt action rifle of nearly any caliber all you hear is the hammer dropping. | FLAG |
