Guide book for Obed & Foster Falls sport climbing

Hi everyone,

I saw this thread here http://www.mountainproject.com/v/chatt-steel-or-dixie-craggers-atlas-for-tn-guide-book/108617251 talking about guide books for the Foster Falls area in TN, and it seems that both are pretty good books for the area. I was wondering, however, if either one is particularly better for the Obed area. I'm heading down that way soon and was hoping to visit both areas for the first time.

The only one that has both is the Dixie Cragger. Other wise there is an Obed guidebook and there is Chatt Steele for Fosters.

Arighty, I've found the Obed book too. Do you think it would be better if I were to get just DC or get both the Obed and Chatt books instead?

If you're only interested in sport and don't mind spending the money on both, then you could go that way. But if you are interested in any trad climbs at twall or sunset park or if you don't want to spend the money on two books, get the DC.
