Description

GRTC climbs a bolted face near the center of Clamshell Cave. Unlike the other routes, it begins from the ground rather than the ledge system partway up. GRTC begins with vertical, pumpy moves off the ground before moving onto interesting slabby ground after the second clip. Worthwhile climbing last until the anchor.

Protection

5 bolts, bolted anchor.

Take some bigger (fist) cams - anchor has disappeared at times in the past.

Just climbed it today 5/26/2008 and the anchor was there. Very fun climb. The crux is about bolt 3-4 where it gets slabby and thin.
