Ground fall at Sunset (Chattanooga, TN)

It sounds pretty bad and I wanted to wish him well and help if I could.

The climber is still in critical condition, trying to recover from a skull fracture and bruising and swelling to the brain. Special thanks to everyone who was involved in the rescue sunday.

Oh dear. I hate to hear it about someone from my local crag. I'll send my thoughts and prayers his way.

He was wearing a helmet, thankfully.

Glad to hear he is doing well. As far as I could tell it looked as though at least one or two pieces had pulled. Helmet saved his life IMO. I saw someone get proposed to at the lookout literally a few seconds before I learned that guy decked. What a swing of emotions. The guys belayer was a good friend to the victim; Was helpful, calm and thought clearly throughout the process. To anyone that knows the injured party let him know lots of folks are wishing him a speedy recovery.
