DescriptionThe far left side of the Grotto hosts what was at one time a coveted project in Diablo (Ojo), and a few more recent sport climbs have been added. At least one crack climb worth doing is up here too. Getting ThereThis is the on the left side of the Grotto, at the far end. Keep going upcanyon past the Evil Paradise Area, and you'll get there. Few climbs at Diablo are this far away from your car, so you'll probably be alone up here. Located at the far (south) end of the Grotto's left side are two enjoyable routes with nice position. Prescribed Burn is the left route of the two. Access the base of the route via a short fourth class scramble up the small ridge below the route or hike around the ridge and back up. From the belay platform, edge out left and up to clip the first bolt in a green, lichen-covered face. Side pull your way up to the big, comfy ledge.
