no and no, you need the monster pick for the matrix or quantums. the method of attachment to the tools is what makes the difference. matrixs uses the three bolt monster design and the cascade is made for tools where the pick slots into the head and is then held with one bolt.

the monster picks that come on the Matrix tools are incredible. i watch my friends file their picks down to stubs on the soft BD and petzl metal.

there is a Grivel cascade pick as well but it doesn't attach to the matrix

you're welcome, one word of caution which I wasn't thinking about with my first reply, as divnamite points out it is specifically the "Xmonster" blade that you'll need, there are angle differences between that one and the orginal "Monster" blade
