Other Info: Hey Everyone, Just wanted you to know that the first Yellow Bluff Trail Day will be on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at 9am.

This will also be the official ribbon cutting/grand opening/wow-we-have-a-street-legal-crag-in-Huntsvegas for Yellow Bluff.

The main purposes of this trail day will be to clear the parking space, help establish a good sound trail, and to install stainless anchors at the tops of the original trad lines.

For those who are interested in establishing new routes on the right side, I would like to invite you out as the SCC and the Yellow Bluff Route Advisor, Adam Henry, would like to have a discussion with everyone on new route development. We have had many people ask how bolting of new routes will be done at YB and this would be the perfect time to allow climbers to provide feedback on this.

After the trail day, an after party will be held at Tim Tow's house in Huntsville.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the trail day!

If you missed the opening of Yellow Bluff, you missed a great day. We had a good work day, we got the trail done to the sign at the property line, (under the big overhang). Old Lines were fitted with top anchors. and new lines spotted. Everyone worked together and had a great time working together. Pictures coming.
