Description This is a high ball problem along the archway above the East doors of East Hall. This building has been neglected by the university- whose taste for architecture is horrific. East Hall is one of the jewels in Kalamazoo- and this climb allows you to be part of it. Start on the left or the right..and move up and around the arch way- being careful not to kick in the windows. Pretty high, landing on concrete. Great view of the Kalamazoo river valley, down town and the Vine Neighborhood. also the only place that cops have arrived. Bust potential is very high. Best done sober and with out any contraband materials on your person. We were left with a warning from the officer who used his PA system to say " whatta think you are mountain climbers?"....
Location East side of East Hall. Hard to miss.
Protection your wits. Bringing pads would only slow you down.

| Great climb with fun exposure. Pause for a gaze over the city before you start your descent. Watch your feet.... otherwise you are likely to kick the upper windows. Hard to spot, with a hard landing. Extra points for touching the large hanging light fixture! Quick get-a-way down steep hill if needed (openings in fence on the south end of field and two straight across from climb). **NOTE** There are often local folks hanging out. Popular spot for boozing, necking and the sort. Can be a good audience or a pain in the butt. If you have an audience, they will act as alarm. Some may want lessons. |

| Just in case anyone decides to climb this in the near future. The WMU police have set up surveillance camera to try and catch people that have been leaving graffiti on the walls. They will show up, so be careful if you are going to attempt this. |
