Graffiti Near Lighthouse Tower

So this past Sunday I was climbing at Lighthouse Tower near Big Bend, and came across some new and really upsetting graffiti on the rocks at the base of the tower. The writing is HUGE and appears to have been done by a group of people all at the same time. Much of the writing is dated 6/13/15, meaning that it was done just a day prior, and there are multiple references to Aspen across the rocks. I'm not posting this because I have any grand plan to find these people, but just think that folks in the area should be made aware of just how offensive and disgusting things like this are. People witnessing behavior like shouldn't be afraid to speak up. I've been noticing things like this more and more lately in the area and it really needs to stop. I really hope this isn't climbers doing this.

So, I actually just did a quick google search on "Aspen Tratos". Turns out Aspen is not just a town in Colorado, but also a punk college kid from Sunnyville, UT with a facebook page...

That sucks. It looks like rock on rock scratches so they should wash away after a rain or someone pours water on it. I see this all the time on popular hikes and n00b climbing areas.
