DescriptionThe north-facing, arching roof of Gradute Cliff features at least four climbs: a crack (Walk to School, 5.7) a corner/face climb over a ceiling (The Graduate 5.10) and a pair of sheer slab routes with mixed pro (5.11 and up). The approach is mellow and descent is via rap anchors at the top of each route. Getting ThereGraduate Cliff is located in the Willow Springs area on the south side, a couple of hundred feet directly above Ragged Edges Rock. Approach by heading south from the parking areas. Jaunt to the right of Ragged Edges, around and to the top of that crag and then blaze up to Graduate Cliff. Sitting just above Ragged Edges, the Graduate is probably the second most obvious climb in the area. A huge right facing corner with a beautiful streaked slab to its right and rough white rock to its left, the corner literally begs to be climbed.Belay about 20' below the corner and head up across semi-easy 5th class terrain the base of the corner.
