Got my rope stuck in crescent crack

To whom it may concern,

I was climbing crescent crack early this evening and ended up rappelling off of the first pitch. Unfortunately the rope got stuck while pulling it down and I was unable to retrieve it. It was getting dark and we didn't not have a second rope with us so we ended up leaving it.

If you climb crescent I would be interested in learning how I got my rope jammed and how I can avoid this, and it would be awesome and lucky if you decide to return this to me.

Please let me know if you do retrieve this rope. I would be really grateful and would enjoy trading some local brews and a hug.
