My wife just had both shoulder straps sewn back onto her climbing pack. She went to Perry's Shoe Shop and they did a good job, in two days (fewer than they promised) and for only $16.

I very highly Do Not recommend the place next to Rock and Resole. The guy needs to get his medications adjusted.

I thought R/R was fine. My wife couldn't deal with the Ripstop customer service approach, which is why she went to Perry's, who's service really impressed her.
