Hi all:

I'm heading to the Daks soon and was wondering if anyone knew of a good online resource for Daks ice. My partners will have the paper guidebook, but I want to get a little info before heading up there.

To that end, anyone have any recommendations - up to WI4+?

Although I am not an authority on ice in the Dacks, I do know that the text "Blue Lines: An Adirondacks Ice Climbers' Guide" is pretty thorough. And, like the other poster said, check with neice.com for up-to-date info, pics, and any other info that you may need.

Also, stop in at the Mountaineer in Keene Valley. The folks there are ultra helpful, friendly, and they definitely won't sandbag you...too bad.

Take it easy.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
