Good beginner spots near Seattle-Tacoma, and potential trad/alpine partners?

Profile photo, exhaustion after a long day on Rain...

Part the first:

I'm going to be up in WA for most of July (from the 13th) and August, and was hoping to take a friend or two out rock climbing for the first time whilst out there. What are the good "intro" spots for someone who's never been outside before (ideally close to Tacoma or Seattle, but a multi-day trip is fine if further out). Top Rope is obviously ideal in this scenario, but easy easy single pitch trad also works.

Never climbed out that way before, so no clue where anything mellow is and would love to take some first-timers out.

Part the second!

If anyone is interested in some moderate trad routes or alpine classics (torment-forbidden, for example), during that time frame I would certainly be interested if anyone wants a partner. I'll be on Rainier and then Baker for a few days in mid-July and then August, but otherwise free. Would be more than happy to meet up at Edgeworks (or whatever the gym is called), in Tacoma to swap belays also.

Sorry in advance for the word-vomit!
