A couple of locals. Took this pic in my driveway.

I call a guy a gumby in a post the other day and the post was removed completely. WTF? Seems MP no longer allows one to have an opinion which isn't presented as though you were addressing a kindergarten class.

So see ya later. If I wanted to be told how to express myself I would join a cult. How is calling someone a gumby being somewhere beyond a jerk? Removed completely! As though I never posted. Got better things to do. Mods, please remove all history of me ever being here, including all of the route info and other contributions I have offered. Bunch of Gumbies!

Gonna miss some of you, just not enough to deal with the playground mentality of the mods. Gone for Good, s.price

I'll take "things I'd give my left arm to bang" for $400, Alex

Probably you'll have to delete everything yourself. I'd bet a sixpack that you're reading this. It's a lame addiction, but that's what it is.

I guess you're a gumby when it comes to internet forums. There is no rhyme or reason to what gets deleted, shit just rolls downhill sometimes. Good luck making better use of your time elsewhere. You're not the only one to think this way (where's johnL these days? Oh, yea-probably doing something more interesting than bantering with Ellenor for a straight year before they finally kicked her to the curb.)

Well, if name-calling is your gig, and not being allowed to do it is an issue...

After a while, I don't think they let you delete your own route entries. I'd say to go in and edit everything blank if that's how you feel.

I wouldn't presume that, people edit their route descriptions all the time. At that point, it would probably be better for them to let his descriptions go even if they are able to fix the matrix. In CO, I'm sure there are plenty who would step up and replace them with their own.

Ownership of info is an interesting subject, and they are certainly his words and beta to tinker with as much as he wants for as long as he is able.

I'm not going to say the farewell note or proposed actions aren't dramatic. But, hell, that's why we lurk the forum, isn't it?

In a zoo in California, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only "orphans" that could be found quickly, were a litter of weaner pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger.
what did happen to the smokin hot wife?

Well, she got old and not quite as smokin' and then got a divorce, statistically speaking.

It becomes a question, too, of whether removing the "content" affects the content other users have provided (eg comments, additional photos, etc); the question ends up being something like: at what point does one user's content, once submitted into the community and augmented by the community, cease to be that user's content and begin being community content? Certainly this is an intellectual exercise and has no tangible meaning, but whatever...

I agree, it's convoluted. I've seen a few different sides of that coin here. Maybe it'll get even more interesting once they start charging for their apps and we're earning them $ beyond ad revenue.

We'll just have see if he fucks with it and tests the system ;). ANARCHY!!!!

I think you need to have a thicker skin s.price, but I'm not exactly on the hate bandwagon either. I see your point, albeit a little strong. Either way, you did contribute, and you weren't a complete asshole. Take it easy dude.

No presumption is necessary. It is a fact, and it has and can be done.

Just so we all are informed, any changes to a narrative in the route database show up on our Admin tool bar. Admins look over the change (compare or contrast) and 99% of the time approve it. When it is simply an act to screw with the site, we click the button to keep the original.

Killer I think even ellenor has found better things to do than troll mp.com. Heck I have quit using the forums all that much as well. Quit everyone crying about the mods and go join /b. they even have a portion on climbing and it is all calling each other gumbies and posting bouldering videos in the gym.

Good luck.
