Description
A local test-piece that many locals will never take the time to look at. Sent on gear by a visiting Yosemite strong-woman in Fall, 2014.
At the golden east-facing wall, start up on flakes and pockets to horizontals and a ledge. Step left to where the thiiiiin crack splits the face. Move up this, using supplementary face holds, and try hard not to peal. Or, if you're extra badass, try to slot a nut before gunning it. Hit the trademark finger pocket and nubbin, figure out the sequence, then latch some jugs at the top of the shield. Pull through easier though still gently overhanging rock to a good stance at the anchors.
