The super fine Godzilla.

Description

Godzilla is a classic problem up the steep backside-face of the Godzilla Boulder. Start up a slightly overhanging groove (on great rock) following small crimps to gain a vertical seam. Techy footwork and a throw to a jug/horn leads to the top. Incredible climbing! Four stars for sure!

Location

This is on Godzilla Boulder, in the Main Area, on Arthur's Rock.

Protection

This is kind of a highball problem, but the landings is good and the crux is down low. A couple pads should be good.

Ha ha, I'll have to hike back up there with a camera soon. I know you don't boulder much (swimming up couloirs is more your thing), but you should definitely hop on this one Ryan!

I'd also add that this problem is listed (with photos) in the excellent NC3 downloadable guide (free!!!)@ www.nococlimbing.org/climbing
