Description Suggest change

This area is pretty small, but its high concentration of quality routes, coupled with a short approach, make it the best place to get acquainted with Freidlein. The main attractions include a wall with several good mid-range problems and the hard classic Gluten Free, and a huge pointed boulder whose highball downhill face produces a few proud, aesthetic face problems. These and a few other scattered boulders and crags boast excellent rock and a serene setting.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the trail from the parking area a few hundred yards to the first major left turn. Look carefully for a faint trail leading off to the right. Follow this trail over a bit of brushy ground before dropping over some short boulders. The trail lands you at the left end of the Gluten Free wall. Continue downhill to find the highball boulder (problems are on its downhill face.) 3-5 minutes from the parking area.
