So I just got through unpacking and realized I'm missing my headlamp. I'm 99% sure I left it in the bivy cave under the huge boulder right under Spearhead. I can't head up there all week so if any of you happen to find it and are feeling generous let me know. It has sentimental value to me as it's come on many an adventure. Beer or cash for its return!

How did the wind fair the rest of the day? We bivouacked and it blew crazy all night with 40-50 mph gusts. Hiked to based of Pagoda's North Buttress at about 6, then turned around because the weather seemed persistent and it was mildy raining to top it off (just 10 min though). Was it brutal all day? Just curious how our decision turned out because it was not too bad below tree line. I sure hate turning around!...perhaps Pagoda was worse a little higher up?...Maybe lie to me and say it was crazy all day so I can feel better! Next time though I'm waiting at the base until 8-9 before calling it as a lesson learned!

Yeah, the wind was really bad all night! 6am was bad too, I remember watching the rain blowing and thinking that it was going to be a bad day. We ended up doing Syke's, the wind wasn't too bad but I think it was partially the aspect because when we topped out it was blowing pretty hard.

Thanks...nice job on Sykes...certainly on my list, perhaps after some on Arrowhead!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
