Description Suggest change

These small granite buttresses float in a sea of hornblende above the Tioga Road about 200 feet west of the Vista View pullout. They face south so are in the shade in the afternoon and are of surprisingly good quality.

Getting There Suggest change

About a 1/4 mile down US 120 from Ellery Lake Dam, and 200 hundred yards west of the first "Vista View" pullout, is the place to park for approaching these short granite buttresses. From this parking spot, traverse uphill and west for about 5 minutes across a rocky ledge system angling down from the northwest. The first climb you will come to is "Girls on Fire" (5.11d). The Panderer Cliff is about a 100 feet to the right of the base of "Girls On Fire". The Admitting the Problem Cliff sits by itself a short scramble up and left across the same ledges from the base of "Girls On Fire".
