Description

Sport (and some trad) climbing at all levels in a secluded valley beyond Mayrhofen, the major town. This is a gorgeous, Tyrolean valley full of boulders and sheer cliffs. There is plentiful mountain biking, water sports, hiking, and mountaineering beyond the climbing.

In general the season is April to November.

Getting There

From Munich or Innsbruck head toward Zillertal. It's east from Innsbruck south from Munich on the Autobahn, freeway. Take local roads to Mayrhofen than up to the Ginzling Valley, not toward Hintertux.
