BETA PHOTO: The "Ghost Crag."

This is a reorganizational entry. The route on this rock did not belong to Sports Wall, thus it is moved here.

There is a short testpiece here, Ghost.

Getting There

Park at the large pullout on the south side of the road, about 500 feet after the first tunnel heading up Clear Creek Canyon. Walk across the metal bridge crossing the river, and then walk back upstream to this overhanging boulder that lies just a couple of feet from the edge of the river (there is no potential waterfall).

V5 to the first bolt then a 2 move V10 boulder problem (bad, left hand, sloper crimp to a flat undercling). From the third bolt to the anchors is around V7 or harder. Took me 2 days and around 80 tries just to do the 2 move crux, but the climb could be harder or easier depending on your height....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
