Mikey's Mantle. Must do route on the slab wall

Description

As the name implies, this is slab climbing. The routes here are good training for some of the more serious granite friction climbing areas in North Carolina.

Getting There

At the bottom of the descent gully, turn left. The routes on the Slab Area wall begin here. Alternatively, rap in from the anchors for All I Wanted Was a Pepsi (you'll see these on the bald as you're coming down the descent trail before getting to the gully).
